Refund policy
What’s the return/exchange policy? This wasn’t as funny/cute/comfortable as I thought it’d be.
We accept exchanges for non-sale items within 14 days of receipt.
Sale items are final sale—no returns or exchanges.
Please note, exchanges are treated as a return with new purchase and customer will be charged for shipping.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. An order number is required to process your request. To start a return, you can contact us at local.conditions29401@gmail.com
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not.
Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 106 Rutledge Avenue Unit A, Charleston, SC, 29401, United States If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
When returning, please share your feedback. We want you to be as happy as life affords you. We know that we can’t be everything for everybody, but we are committed to quality and consistency.
The boring, but important stuff: If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. The time it takes for your return or exchange to reach us may vary depending on your location, the weather, the next catastrophic event, sunny day flooding, etc. etc. etc.
What’s the damage?
Damages and Issues Yeah, we’ve been keeping our therapist busy, too. But not about the hats. To make sure it’s same, same for you: Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

What’s your shipping policy?
Okay, look. Here’s the thing. Normally it takes us ages to get to the post office and we don’t know the last time we had stamps and that birthday card? It’s 3 years later, still sitting in the back of the desk drawer...
BUT, for YOU, once we receive your order we start working on it right away.

Standard delivery time is 5-7 business days from date shipped, but may take longer due to various factors outside of our control.

Shipping prices are calculated based on weight and destination.

We currently cannot fulfill and ship orders to P.O. Box addresses.
We offer Free Economy Shipping on order over $__+ in 6-12 business days and $5.99 for anything less than that.
Yeah, we know, we could have just started with that.
Oh, also, because it’s Charleston, we also offer “porch pick up” at our downtown location and personal delivery. We may be around at local events and can meet you there. Send us an email and we’ll make it work.
P.S. Please note that we do not ship on weekends or on US national holidays. Because we like BaLaNcE.
Did my order get stuck in traffic on the crosstown? It’s missing!
For issues with delivery or tracking, the easiest and fastest way to get a resolution is to reach out directly to the carrier or shipping company. Sometimes carriers will prematurely mark shipments as “delivered” or need additional information from you to complete the delivery.
We know these limited runs are popular so check with your neighbor/roommate/cousin/sister friend before you get upset with us, please.
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipments and the buyer assumes all responsibilities of claims made with the shipping carrier.
